Learning on the Log Depends on Caring Friends Like You

Generous support from our friends enables us to provide high quality programs to increase each child's expressive and receptive relationship to the world around them. We believe that the best way for these skills to develop is to provide a setting or environment that contains activities that are interesting, challenging and fun.

All children need these elements in place to reach their maximum potential as equal participants in our world. These children deserve the same opportunity. Please make your gift today, by mail, or by phone, and we will put it to work immediately for our LOG Kids.

Learning on the Log Welcomes Gifts of Stocks, Bonds, and Other Appreciated Assets

By giving stock to Learning on the Log, you support our vital programs while gaining significant tax savings. You will receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full current market value of appreciated assets you have held for at least a year, and avoid entirely the capital gains tax on the increased value. This means that if you donate stock originally bought for $10,000 that is now worth $25,000, you are entitled to a charitable deduction of the full $25,000, and pay no taxes on the $15,000 gain. And your gift enables Learning on the Log to help even more children with special needs overcome their challenges.

For information about donating stock, please contact, or have your broker contact Armann Fenger.
